A comforting blend of tender steak and hearty ground beef, simmered to perfection in a slow cooker.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound steak, cubed
  • 1 can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and garlic, and sauté until softened.
  3. Add the cubed steak and cook until browned.
  4. Stir in the chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  5. Add the kidney beans, diced tomatoes, and beef broth.

  7. Simmer for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  8. Adjust seasoning if necessary and serve hot.
