  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Egg noodles or rice for serving

Instructions

  1. In a slow cooker, combine the beef, onion, garlic, and mushrooms.
  2. Add the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Stir to combine and cook on low for 480 minutes or on high for 240 minutes until the beef is tender.
  4. About 30 minutes before serving, stir in the sour cream.
  5. Serve over cooked egg noodles or rice.

Notes

For extra flavor, sear the beef in a skillet before adding it to the slow cooker. You can add extra vegetables like carrots or peas for more nutrition.
