A hearty and flavorful crockpot chili that’s perfect for busy days or chilly evenings.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup beef broth

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with the chopped onion and minced garlic until the beef is cooked through. Drain the excess fat.
  2. Transfer the beef mixture to the crockpot.
  3. Add the diced tomatoes, kidney beans, black beans, chili powder, cumin, paprika, beef broth, and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Stir to combine all the ingredients.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  6. Serve hot with your favorite toppings.

Notes

For extra flavor, try adding bell peppers or corn to the mix. Feel free to adjust the spices to suit your taste.
