Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef

  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef and onion in a skillet over medium heat until the beef is no longer pink. Drain excess fat.
  2. Transfer the cooked beef and onions to a slow cooker.
  3. Add the kidney beans, pinto beans, crushed tomatoes, chili powder, cumin, salt, black pepper, beef broth, and Worcestershire sauce.
  4. Stir to combine all ingredients.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  6. Serve hot and enjoy your homemade chili!

Notes

For extra flavor, add a splash of hot sauce or a diced bell pepper. To achieve a thicker chili, leave the lid off during the last hour of cooking.
