Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound frozen meatballs
  • 1 packet of onion soup mix
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms (optional)
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place the frozen meatballs in the slow cooker.
  2. In a bowl, mix the onion soup mix, cream of mushroom soup, beef broth, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir well.
  3. Pour the mixture over the meatballs in the slow cooker. Add sliced mushrooms if using.
  4. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 360–480 minutes or on high for 180–240 minutes, until the meatballs are heated through and tender.
  6. Once cooked, stir gently before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, sauté the mushrooms and garlic before adding them to the slow cooker. Use your favorite brand of frozen meatballs, whether beef, turkey, or veggie. For a thicker gravy, mix 1 tablespoon of cornstarch with 2 tablespoons of water and add during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
