A comforting and hearty soup made with ground beef, cabbage, and tomatoes, perfect for chilly days.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small head of cabbage, chopped
  • 2 cans (15 oz each) diced tomatoes
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup rice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, cook the ground beef, onion, and garlic over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. Transfer the mixture to the crockpot.
  3. Add the chopped cabbage, diced tomatoes (with juice), beef broth, rice, salt, and pepper to the crockpot.
  4. Stir everything together.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 360-480 minutes or until the cabbage is tender and the rice is fully cooked.
  6. Serve hot and enjoy your comforting soup!
