A warm and comforting beef stew, perfect for chilly evenings, prepared effortlessly in a Crockpot.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds beef stew meat
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 4 carrots, chopped
  • 4 potatoes, diced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Combine the beef stew meat, chopped onion, garlic, carrots, and potatoes in the Crockpot.
  2. Pour in the beef broth and add Worcestershire sauce, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper.
  3. Stir to combine.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 480 minutes or on high for 240 minutes, until the beef is tender.
  5. Adjust seasoning if necessary and serve hot.

Notes

For extra flavor, sear the beef before adding to the Crockpot. Add other vegetables for variety, or a splash of red wine for deeper flavor.
